I lead the Graphic Design program at the University of Northern Colorado and teach all levels of Graphic Design coursework. I have over twenty years of teaching experience and have taught at Edinboro University in Pennsylvania, Moore College of Art in Philadelphia and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
With over twenty years experience in Graphic Design, Art Direction and Marketing I've worked with agencies and clients in the U.S. and abroad. I've won regional and national awards for my work including National Endowment for Humanities award, Type Directors Annual Exhibition, American Association of Museums awards, American Institute of Graphic Arts, Art Directors Club of Denver, and the Erie Advertising Club among others.

Additionally, I present  internationally and nationally at numerous symposiums and conferences including the 21th Biennial Congress of the IAEA, Dresden, Germany,New Views: Conversation and Dialogues in Graphic Design, University of the Arts, London, UK and the Eighth International Conference on Design Principles and Practices, Vancouver, Canada
