I have found writing to be one of the most valuable tools in my growth as a designer and latter as an educator. For my students I adamantly encourage a continued refinement of this communication tool. It is central to the success of any professional career, especially those connected to media and communication.
Admittedly, I’m not the best. It is a challenge no different than other creative tasks and demands patience.
I enjoy writing about what I do—teaching design. I’m fascinated with the ideological and practical challenges that seem to change daily with this field. As mentioned in my teaching rant, it’s the state of flux in the design field that is both challenging and invigorating to me as an educator.
